Mastopexy / Breast Lift
As you get older, your breasts may begin to sag. However, we at Dr. Connie Hiers Plastic Surgery & Med Spa can help restore your breasts’ perkiness. Our mastopexy, or breast lift surgery involves separating the sagging lower breast tissue from your muscle and placing it into a higher position. We then carefully sew the tissue with sutures. As with all San Antonio cosmetic surgery procedures, there are a few risks to consider before having mastopexy surgery performed.
Risks & Facts
Risks for breast lift surgery include bleeding, bruising, swelling, infection, inability to breastfeed, and changes on your mammogram as a result of scarring from the surgery. It is encouraged you tell us if you have recently undergone massive weight loss or have a history of scarring.
