Liposuction is a great way to tackle areas of unwanted fat on your body. Done by the right doctor, liposuction is a safe procedure concentrated on reducing excess fat, including the Quarantine 15. During your consultation, we will examine you and discuss the procedure. Schedule an appointment today!
1) You are not pregnant or breastfeeding
Even if you’re eager to let go of excess baby weight, it’s not recommended to go through liposuction while breastfeeding. Once your little one is all set up with bottles, so are you for your procedure!
2) You have localized areas of excess fat
Liposuction is not a weight loss procedure! You must actually have areas with excess fat in order to go through liposuction, such as abdomen, hips, or thighs. Even though it does result in losing a few extra pounds, the main goal is not to get thinner, but to remove unhealthy areas of fat.
3) You are conscious of procedure goals
Yes, you will have excess fat removed from your body but be realistic about expectations post-op. If you have too much excess fat, it won’t all go away all at once. Your doctor will determine an appropriate amount to keep the procedure safe and you may need to schedule another later on if you want more fat removed. As always, safety first!
